What an awesome photo shoot. Yes, it is really true; I had an amazing photo shoot! With my internship heating up, starting a new job on 5th ave, and stirring up some thing with my clothing business; I have to learn even more on dressmaking, darts, and the details of the design of a dress. As most of you already know, it is not about matching colors dress with your skirt, matching, matching your shoes with your blouse, or yoir shirt with your hat any more. That was about 5-10 years ago (maybe evwn more!). Let it be colorful! But don't go overboard, and it still depends what kind of colors you are intertwining. Neutral colors always works well: grey, navy, black, and beige always go with nearly anything. Pair red with beige, navy with white, and black goes with anything! I recently watched the Men Fall Winter 2013/14 fashion show from DSquared2. From watching them and Burberry recently, it seems floral print is still in. Not too much, not an all over print, but just a dab of floral - on a tie, on part of a jacket, or even an embroidery on part of a shirt. I also noticed long coats in a relaxed silhouette. Another awesome photo shoot! We had this done a week ago and most of the pictures came out great, including the one below; where you can see close ups of the epaulette, patch pocket, and zipper detail of the shirt. It is amazing what good lighting, a good photographer, and good clothes can do together! Looking forward to many more.
