This probably sounds very cliche and obvious but... you should always do what is best for you no matter how any one says or treats you. I see through everyday life that it is true; if you do what you love, there will be people that disapprove of it. If you do what some one else believe you should do, there will be people that will disapprove of it. At the end of the day, if any one treats you unimportant, don't give the respect you deserve, then accept that is how they are, because misery loves company, and you go right back to focusing on what you got to do and being positive.
There is a new piece to welcome to the Kevin Shahroozi brand! This is a suede body, leather lapel/collar zip vest. I always enjoy taking classic pieces and silhouettes, then adding an edgy feature or two. A unique piece, I have not seen a vest with a suede body, then the lapels and collar are leather.
